Este filme conta a história de Mac e Kelly Radner, um casal que acaba de se mudar com a sua bebé para um bairro pacato.
Mais tarde eles descobrem que os seus vizinhos vão ser um grupo de estudantes, então tentam arranjar uma boa maneira de lhes pedir que façam pouco barulho.
Uma noite, o barulho torna-se ensurdecedor e o casal decide chamar a policia, fazendo com que Teddy, um dos estudantes, jure vingança ao casal.
