Este filme conta a história de David Locking, um rapaz inglês humilde cuja a sua única família são os seus três estranhos amigos.

Após uma viajem a uma ilha paradisíaca David conhece Mia, uma rapariga australiana, eles apaixonam-se e ele pede-a em casamento.

Quando ele regressa a Londres, dá a noticia aos seus amigos e logo todos viajam para a Austrália, o que David não sabe é que os seus amigos têm planos loucos para a sua despedida de solteiro.
